Kari' Beautiful Babes

My very good friend Kari has allowed me to use her children as my muse more than once. She is an incredible mom with an amazing amount of patience. Her children are completely beautiful inside and out, which is no doubt due to her exquisite mothering, and some darn good genes! I started taking pictures of Kari's kiddos back when her oldest, Grace, was only 1. Unfortunately that was on a 35mm camera and I have yet to get those pictures added to my computer. When Kari's second daughter Nora was born, I was able to take pictures of the sisters, and you can see the instant bond that was there. After Finn was born there was no doubt that I needed to take pictures of her little man, as they don't make them much cuter! So, as you will see in the following pictures, Kari not only has patience with her kids, but quite a bit with me too! She will never know how much it means for me to have the privilege of taking pictures of her babes, and just being her friend. So we had a little trouble getting a great shot of all three at once, but at least no one is crying in this picture! (which is more than I can say for at least 50 :)

Flathead lake. I love the light and the dark in this picture, and the way that the red barn kind of just pops out at you.

When I took these pictures the sky was beginning to darken. A storm was brewing so the lighting was perfect!
