Grandpa

A little over two weeks ago my grandfather passed away, he was 85. It wasn't really a surprise, but it broke my heart none the less. I hadn't seen him since last summer, but I have many great memories of him, as he spent so much time with my family. My grandpa was a very classy man, caring every bit about how he presented himself and his family. He was a great connection to my heritage, telling stories of the past, and teaching us how to say things in Romanian. I miss my grandfather, but I know he is keeping God company and entertaining him with his quick wit. Here are some pictures I took last summer when I was there for our family reunion. I have also added my favorite picture of me and my grandpa from long, long ago.
